"Dunli for Clothes" - The 2nd Keqiao·China International Dress Design Competition of Dynamic Show and Award Ceremony was held in Zhijiang College
On December 20th, "Dunli for Clothes" the 2nd Keqiao·China International Dress Design Competition of the dynamic show and award ceremony was held at the gymnasium in Zhijiang College. The event aims to promote the fabric design of Keqiao towards originality, diversity, fashion and best-selling styles with the classic culture carried by the dresses, expand the richness of the fabric of Keqia, improve the aesthetic height, and enhance people's awareness of protecting our cultural heritage.

Since this activity successful holding in Keqiao from 2017 , it has received extensive attention from the academic community and the society. With the full support of the Keqiao District Government, the group members of this team is committed to create the diversification of activities and the multilevel exhibitors. Meantime, it has gradually become a brand which based on colleges and universities, and the platform for the development and inheritance of a socially influential dress culture.
In 2018, the competition was conducted in a combination of static display, academic seminars and dynamic catwalks. The static display session was held on September 19th at the Fashion Design Center of China Textile City International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition attracted relevant practitioners, designers and some scholars. The academic research team attracted many researchers from universities and research institutions. Converging Zhijiang College, around "dress and social civilization", "performance of dress art", "the meaning of 'courtesy' in the dress", "what is the fashion dress of China", "cultural differences of different national dresses", The six themes such as "Individuals' Understanding of Wedding Costumes" have been discussed in depth and exchanged opinions widely.
The dynamic catwalk is a special feature of this competition, exhibiting nearly 300 pieces of designer dresses from Britain, South Korea, Taiwan,China, Hong Kong,China, Montenegro, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Anhui and Inner Mongolia.

The evolution of clothing carries the evolution of human beings’ lifestyle and cultural traditions.
This special dress is a unique way for us to spy on and understand the classic culture. The purpose of knowing is not old-fashioned, and our inheritance of traditional culture and traditional crafts is not a simple renaissance. The main theme of the "Dunli for Clothes" campaign is clear and grounded: it is particularly appropriate to discuss what is the modern "beauty dress" in Keqiao, a city which is famous for cloth.
“Dunli for clothes” has injected a new vitality into the inheritance of traditional cultural dresses, and opening a new starting point for dress culture.
