Topic: How can college students write quantitative research papers in economics and management

Main Content: How to write standardized academic papers? How to make your papers stand out? This seminar aims to popularize the writing basics and academic norms about economic management quantitative research. The lectures will be expounded from three aspects, including topic selection, implementation process of quantitative study and standard expression of academic language.
Place: Lecture hall in the Teacher and Student Activity Center
Participant: All school staff and students. People outside campus are welcome to attend.
Speaker: Doctor Hou Hehong
Brief Introduction of the Speaker: Hou Hehong, Doctor of Economics, is a full-time teacher in Business School of Zhijiang College of Zhejiang University of Technology. He has graduated from Shandong University of Finance and Economics and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and he has gotten Bachelor’s, Master's and doctoral degrees of Economics. His main research directions are the empirical accounting, mathematical economics and labor economics. And he has also published 5 CSSCI papers, two of which are fully reproduced in the NPC copy "theory of economics". What’s more, he has guided students who won 2 second prizes in the Zhejiang College Students Accounting Information Contest in 2013, and 1 second prize in the same contest in 2014.
