Recently, volunteers from the Department of Information Engineering conducted a blood donation activity in Shaoxing campus on the theme of learning from Lei Feng’s good examples and passing positive energy in order to welcome ‘Learn from Lei Feng Day’ in March.

On that day, students who donated blood in turn carried out information registration, blood type testing and vein sampling under the guidance of volunteers from the Department of Information Engineering. While waiting for blood donation, these students including those who had participated in several times were nervous but excited. They were delighted that their actions would help people in need and save more lives.

Through such public welfare activities, college students’ sense of social responsibility has been strengthened, and the awareness of being engaged in public welfare undertakings has been awakened while popularizing the knowledge of blood donation. It is reported that a total of 101 students participated in the blood donation activity and the total amount of donated blood reached 36,900 CC.

The students interpreted the most beautiful youth by their deeds. Each blood donor devoted not only blood, but also deep love. This love flowed in everyone's heart and warmed everyone.
