RWTH Aachen University, one of the prestigious German universities of science and engineering and one of the world-class universities as well, enjoys the reputation of “European MIT”. Aachen, the city of science, is a dream place to study further for students across the world. This time the overseas study tour took “Industry 4.0” as its subject and unlike before, the form changed, featuring the combination of theory and field trips. Besides studying theory in classes, students visited enterprises and scientific research institutes such as development and research center of German E.Go Electric Passenger Vehicle Company, German National Industry 4.0 Innovation Model Factory, Fraunhofer Institutes for Machining and Laser. On the scene, students witnessed advanced technologies of making, testing, and productive managing, further experiencing the real application and technology innovation of German Industry 4.0.

The university also organized colorful extracurricular activities out of classes with high quality and high intensity. Therefore, students not only experienced the European teaching atmosphere and the deep cultural accumulation of prestigious universities, but also enjoyed the most renowned places of interest in Europe as well as German lifestyle and culture.
