SFT Hits a Record High of 15% in Studying Abroad

The School of Foreign Language has achieved favorable results in further studying in 2017. By the day of July 31st, 2017, among 124 graduates, 18 of them have gone abroad for further studying and domestically, one has successfully passed the National Postgraduate Entrance Examination. The share of further studying reached 15.32%, the highest record for recent ten years. The rate of Japanese major even amounted to 27.28%, and 25% of students went abroad through SFT’s exchange projects with Japanese universities.

For years, the School of Foreign Language has intensively focused on internationalizing students, vigorously creating international platforms and atmosphere, opening their minds and strengthening their thinking capability. Meanwhile, SFL won’t give up to reinforcing the construction of study style, encouraging students to work harder, and regularly holding meetings so as to stimulate students to take the National Postgraduate Entrance Examinations and to share experience of studying abroad. By doing these, SFL helps students set goals as well as strengthen the awareness and confidence when it comes to international exchange and cooperation.

Such achievements made in further studying help to expand employment channels for graduates, improve their professional skills, and further provoke students of SFL to persist in exerting themselves.
