Recently, ZJC’s teacher and students have won the provincial–level awards of volunteer work in the Zhejiang provincial volunteer service selection of advanced groups and individuals. Tang Yangyang, a teacher of the School of China Travel (Tourism), was awarded the title of “Zhejiang provincial advanced worker of volunteer work”. Chao Yujie, a student from the School of Humanities, won the title of “Zhejiang provincial excellent worker of the Yang Guang Volunteer Activity”; Wang Hangjie from the School of Mechanical Engineering won the title of “Zhejiang provincial excellent worker of the Nuan Dong Volunteer Activity”; Gao Yilian, a graduate in 2016 from the School of Humanities and Chen Yijian, who is a student from the School of Science, both two were awarded the title of “Zhejiang provincial excellent volunteer of ‘Two Plans’”. ZJC has advanced the volunteer brands for a year, such as “Huaer Action”, “Lei Feng Action”, “Hongxinzhu” and etc. They are based on the built of the platform of Shangde Department, which organizes the activities to encourage students to read more, and the improvement of the main volunteer program “Moral Bank”, aiming to lead students to actively practice the core socialist values, advocate the volunteer spirit as contribution, fraternity, mutual aid, and improvement, and wildly develop the volunteer activities, such as the blood donation. The great contribution made by our students has unveiled the vigor of our students in big activities like the Hangzhou G20 Summit, the International Cartoon and Animation Festival, Keqiao Fashion Week and etc.
