The 7th “Talk in ZJC with Secretary of CPC” Symposium was held on December 15 at Shaoxing campus. The Symposium was presided over by Zheng Yaping, theSecretary of CPC and faculties form college office, financial department, student union and other departments as well as 17 students from poor families at Shaoxing campus attended in the Symposium. They discussed deeply on the topic of “ Caring of Teachers Warms Hearts, Gathering Strength Makes Movement”.
During the symposium, Zheng got known of the family finance, life and learning situation of the students, listened to the suggestions of them on aspects of college education, study construction and campus environment and put forward three requirements and expectations. First of all, adhere to professional skills training andstrengthen practice training out of campus. ZJC is in the transforming time andyoung students should strive to become interdisciplinary talents who not only understand technology but also have the knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship ability. Secondly, cherish the four-year college time and make plans to achieve goals. This period time is the longest time to focus on learning, students should grasp the opportunity to learn, develop good study habits, enhance self ability to achieve self-worth and do meaningful things. Thirdly, keep an optimistic, positive attitude towards life and never give up, keep the faith, gratitude and thank thesupport and encouragement of friends, family, school and society.
It is reported that there is a public opinion column to collect the views and suggestions put forward by student representatives and the relevant departments willrespond so as to build a smooth and communication platform for the majority of teachers and students.
