With the decent dressing and the sweet smiles on their faces, the members of etiquette team of ZJC left a great impression on the audience on the 10th FINA SynchronizedSwimming World Trophy.
The 10th FINA Synchronized Swimming World Trophy was held on Dec.12 and 13 in the Swimming and Diving hall of Sports Center in Keqiao, Shaoxing. 123 athletes from 13 countries took part in the competition. It was the first time that Keqiao held such international competition. ZJC took the task of exchanging gifts of leaders and the hostesses of the awarding ceremony for the first time. This trophy was live all over the nation and Europe, however, we only got a week to prepare.
Professor Liu Qingqin took the training task and she selected 14 students who were outstanding during the selection test. The training was different form model training, therefore, Professor Liu made intensive training plan and the team members started training at 17:30 and ended at 22:30. After each five-hour training, the girls improved a lot. Besides the intensive training, the girls also needed to go on a diet so that they could stay in shape.
The etiquette team entered the competition arena at noon and rehearsed again and again.Although they were all exhausted, they kept smiling and persisted. The mission was completed successfully and all the students and teachers were praised by the leaders of Keqiao government and other related departments. Meanwhile, college leaders also paid much attention to this event. Leaders of college encouraged the students. As for Professor Liu, she believed that as long as one persisted, he or she would succeed. The performanceof the etiquette team is not only the image of ZJC and Keqiao District, but also the image of China.
On Dec.12, the 10th FINA Synchronized Swimming World Trophy started and theetiquette team showed up at the award ceremony. They completed the mission successfully.Such kind of international stage was a great chance for them to improve themselves and develop their potentials.
