By the moonlit and the breeze-whispering ,we celebrated the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival.The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese festival, also known as Moon-worshiping Festival,or Reunion Festival in China. The bright moonlight of the fifteenth moon covers the earth, and it also illuminates the hearts of countless homesick people.The excursions are looking forward to spending time with their loved ones to eat moon cakes, enjoy the moon and celebrate the festival.
The annual Mid-Autumn Festival has arrived, and the 2019 freshmen who have stayed in our school holiday feel the warmth and belonging from the “home”of mechanical institute . On the afternoon of September 13, the School of Mechanical Engineering held the “Our Festival – Mid-Autumn Festival” New Year Mid-Autumn Festival Friendship on the first floor of Xueyuan Hall. The event attracted a total of more than 120 teachers and students from the mechanics . The atmosphere of the event was warm, and the enthusiasm is high.
At the beginning of the activity, the deputy secretary of the Party branch of the School of Mechanical Engineering first sent a deep blessing and concern on behalf of the college to the 2019 freshmen who stayed at the school . Subsequently, all the teachers and students tied the apron, put on gloves, and sat around a group, together to make delicious snowy moon cakes. Beat eggs, mix cream, and flour, make stuffing, the event is full of laughter, after a process, one by one, the appearance of ice-skinned moon cakes in front of everyone. In addition, in order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of Zhijiang College, the Student Union of the League Committee of the College of Mechanical Engineering, on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, has also carefully designed and customized a number of "College LOGO, I love Zhijiang, National Day LOGO" and other related moon cake making molds, and the youth of our college gathered together to make theme moon cakes together to bless the motherland and bless Zhijiang.
It is reported that since the "Our Festival" series of activities held in September 2016, our college has held four consecutive sessions. Through the form of teachers and students, we made sachets at the Dragon Boat Festival and made moon cakes in the Mid-Autumn Festival. A series of activities, such as reunion, aim to guide the majority of young college students to actively promote the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese celebrities and enrich the campus cultural life of students.
