International Students|ZJC Application Guidance of 2026 Spring Semester

General Information

Zhijiang College of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJC) is a full-time undergraduate independent college approved by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 1999. It has been jointly run by Zhejiang University of Technology and Keqiao District of Shaoxing City since 2012. Students have been studying on the Shaoxing campus since September 2013. In 2015, it was listed as one of the first ten pilot demonstration schools for applied university in Zhejiang Province. In 2016, it was among the first to pass the standardized acceptance of independent colleges by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education. In 2017, it became the unit for granting master's degrees in Zhejiang Province. In 2019, it became one of the first ten demonstration bases for integration of industry and education in Zhejiang Province and the first pilot college for the Education Ministry's ‘1+X’ certificate program. The campus covers an area of 820 acres, including 220 acres of water surface.

The entire faculty and students of the college are following the college motto of "upholding virtue, pursuing knowledge, and daring to be pioneers", implementing the "Three Strategies" of "integrating into Shaoxing, relying on the parent institution, and developing with connotation", and promoting the innovative capabilities in "talents, disciplines, and services", accelerating the construction of a "first-class regional application-oriented university", and making new and greater contributions to promoting the construction of Zhejiang Province as an "important window", a socialist modernization pioneer province, and a "high-quality development construction demonstration zone for common prosperity".

Study Length:

Full-time students: 1 semester (half year) to 4 semesters (2 years). There are two semesters every year: the spring semester and the autumn semester.

Deadline for 2026 Spring Semester application: Dec 31st, 2025.

If the number of new students enrolled reaches a certain size, the College may stop enrollment in advance

Admission Requirements:

1.Foreigners 16 years old (including) or above;

2.Have studied in China for less than 2 years and haven’t acquired any degree in China.

3.Know English for daily communication;

4.Passport valid for more than one year.

5.If the student has Chinese visa ( Residence Permit or Stay Permit) please make sure it will last until at least March 31st, 2026.

Student Visa:

Zhijiang College will help full-time students apply for student visa (must register for 1 year at least).

Class time: from Monday to Friday

Number of classes: 20 periods (45 minutes) per week, 320 periods per semester

6. 2-inch ID photo (photo or PDF document).

7. Certificate of Verification(For Physical, Examination Record For Foreigners Or Overseas Chinese) provided by Chinese hospitals (within 6 months and only those who are in China are required to provide)

8. Certificate of No Criminal Conviction provided by Chinese public security department (only those who are in China are required to provide)

9. Certificate of transfer for international students(only those who have been studying in other Chinese schools in the previous semester are required to provide)

TIPS:

1.The College dormitories are not provided for international students. Student are required to find the accommodation themselves and get Registration Voucher of Residence for Visitors from Overseas.

2.The College has the right to cancel the admission in case of the policy changes.

3.During the vacation, the Admission Notice and JW202 Form may not be sent in time. Please wait for the reply patiently.

4.Please register within the period required in the Admission Notice. If the students have Chinese visa (Residence permit or stay permit) that will last less than 2 months, the College will not help them apply Stay permit.

5.Please pay the tuition fees while registration, or the College will cancel the visa of the unpaid student.
