School of Business currently has approximately 2200 students, with eight different undergraduate programs covering International Economics and Trade, International Finance, Business Administration, Financial Management, Marketing, Public Service Administration, Engineering Management, and Information Management. We focus on introducing high-quality training resources, meanwhile keep an positive attitude towards exploring cross-border cooperation. We already established “2+2” or “3+1” joint training programs with universities such as University of Nottingham and University of Bridgeport. Besides, we also have ACCA program offered from Shanghai Golden Education. During the summer holiday every year, School of Business organizes students to study in other regions and countries like Hong Kong and America.
School of Business now has 60 full-time teachers, among whom are twelve PhDs, five doing their PhD courses, seven tenured professors, twenty associate professors, and five overseas returnees. In addition, our school has invited a steady group of teachers from outside of the college. After its relocation in the Town of Keqiao in 2013, we have built a close tie with the local government and enterprises which become our teachers’ treasury from outside our school.
School of Business aims at continually improving quality of teaching and further reform. We own e-Business Research Center, Transnational Investment Research Center, Statistics Survey Institute, and Investment and Financing Management Institute, which are the bases of university-industry joint work and is also a platform for our students to practice. Besides our shared laboratories, each major has its own special laboratories and case study sections. We carry out extensive horizontal projects with local government and enterprises, offering training services, which in return helps build a strong foundation for case instruction.
The students are the nucleus of all kinds of recreational, sports, academic activities and social work. Our graduates have high comprehensive quality, innovative and practical ability, enormous development potential, so our graduates gain a favorable reception from more and more enterprises, and our once-for-all employment rate stably over 94%.
