On the morning of January 24th, the appointment ceremony was held to welcome Prof. Diane Hildebrandt, a national expert and academician of South African national academy of sciences, to Zhijiang university. On behalf of the college, Li Penglin, president of the college, signed a contract of appointment with academician Diana. The meeting was presided over by the director of the organization and human resources department, and the school office and the director of local research institute attended the meeting.

At the signing ceremony, Li expressed his sincere welcome to academician Diana and looked forward to fruitful cooperation with her. Li said the landing project is just the beginning and the two sides will make joint efforts to develop long-term cooperation on local industries in Keqiao. The college will also provide the greatest support for Diana's project, which is expected to successfully achieve in Zhijiang and Keqiao.  

At the meeting, Yan Wei, full-time deputy director of the talent office of keqiao district committee, made a speech. He first extended a warm welcome to academician Diana to settle in Keqiao. He pointed out that the cooperation between academician Diana, Keqiao district government and Zhijiang college of Zhejiang University of Technology in a more open and inclusive way has greatly improved the possibility of the success of the project. Keqiao district government will support the development of the project through various ways and accelerate the progress of the project.
